Trainee Poster Competition

Saturday March 14th 2026, 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm: Location: Portola Hotel, De Anza I & II

The California Thoracic Society (CTS) poster competition is open to all trainees and early career professionals, including residents, fellows, nurses/NPs, and respiratory therapists who reside in the state of California. Posters display scientific research abstracts and case reports pertaining to pulmonary medicine, thoracic imaging, thoracic surgery, critical care, or sleep medicine.

Please aim to arrive at De Anza I & II  no later than 4:30pm to prepare your posters. Upon arrival we will provide you with your location, poster board (with tape or pins if needed) along with a brass easel for displaying your poster.
The event winds down by 8pm for break down and clean up.

For the Poster-board abstract, the largest-sized poster-board we can accommodate on each easel is 4’ x 3’ (48 inches x 36 inches). You are responsible for shipping the posters to the Portola Hotel no earlier than 7 days before the conference and no later than 1 day before the conference. Otherwise, if you are brining the poster with you, no need to ship.
