MODERATOR:
Ni-Cheng Liang, MD, is a mother, cancer survivor, mindfulness teacher, and Director of Pulmonary Integrative Medicine for Coastal Pulmonary Associates. She also holds a Voluntary Assistant Professor of Medicine appointment at UCSD. She is a leader and international speaker on physician wellness, mindfulness, anti-racism, integrative and pulmonary medicine.
SPEAKERS:
Christina Harris. MD
Dr. Christina Harris is an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Division of General Internal Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. She is currently an Associate Program Director in the UCLA Internal Medicine Residency Program, an Associate Vice Chair of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion for the Department of Medicine and the Assistant Designated Institutional Official to lead the equity, diversity, and inclusion efforts across all of UCLA’s Graduate Medical Education training programs.
Jill Wener, MD
Dr. Jill Wener is a nationally renowned expert in physician wellness, meditation, and EFT/tapping. An (always aspiring) anti-racist, Jill created the Conscious Anti-Racism curriculum and with Dr. Maiysha Clairborne published the Conscious Anti-Racism book in 2020. Dr. Wener hosts the Conscious Anti-Racism podcast and is a facilitator in the ACGME Equity Matters program.
Meshell Johnson, MD
Meshell Johnson is a Professor of Medicine at UCSF, whose clinical home is the San Francisco VA Medical Center, where she serves as Chief of the Division of Pulmonary/Critical Care/Sleep Medicine. She is passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion and is the inaugural Associate Chief of DEI for the UCSF Department of Medicine.
