Dr. Trapnell is an internationally known clinician-scientist, who’s work focuses on rare lung diseases, alveolar macrophage biology, GM-CSF in lung health and disease, and human gene therapy. The Trapnell lab investigates the pathobiology of pulmonary alveolar proteinosis (PAP), focusing on the role of GM-CSF in regulating alveolar macrophage differentiation, and function. Dr. Antonio Anzueto - Nebulization in Viral Pandemics: Evidence Based Review
Dr. Antonio Anzueto is the professor of pulmonary and critical care in the Department of Medicine at the University of Texas and chief in the pulmonary section of the RDL Murphy Memorial Veterans Hospital Division of the South Texas Veterans Health Care System in the United States. Dr. Anzueto will be discussing the transmission mechanisms for viral respiratory pathogens, procedures that are considered as aerosol-generating based on national and international health authorities, and the coronavirus data related to nebulization. He will also review the current recommendations for administering nebulized medication during the COVID-19 pandemic.
