The California Thoracic Society (CTS) Continues with New Educational Series of Webinars
California Thoracic Society (CTS) is committed to the development of next generation of pulmonologists, intensivists and sleep medicine specialists. CTS has developed a special live webinar session for Pulmonary, Critical Care, Sleep Medicine trainees enrolled in fellowships who are interested in exploring ways to navigate fellowship training tailored to their interests and goals in developing a path towards a successful career in our field. This program would include an overview of the field by CTS Education committee leadership, Dr Shazia Jamil (Professor of Medicine at Scripps and UCSD) and Dr George Su (Professor of Medicine at UCSF), followed with a Q&A session directed to panelists who are Chairs and Directors from various Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine Divisions of both academic and private practices. The Q&A has been developed in conjunction with current PCCM fellows, Dr Solmaz Ehteshami Afshar (Stanford) and Dr Laura Glassman (UCLA) and would include insights on topics ranging from identifying mentors, expectations for specialty training, to various specific pathways within the fellowship and more.
